I've noticed that the city keeps clearing out the homeless camps on Springwater corridor by ****** St. where I live. Unfortunately, they seem to be focusing more on kicking the homeless people out who have nowhere else to go rather than cleaning up the huge and dangerous piles of trash by the trailheads. I don't care if I'm sharing my neighborhood with homeless people. Our city did that to them, and it's our fault they have nowhere to go. I do care, however, about the dangerous piles of trash that the city doesn't clean up while it's stealing the livelihood of our homeless neighbors. This seems unnecessarily cruel and misguided, especially given the current pandemic. Could you please try a different approach that leaves the tents alone but actually cleans up all the garbage?
