I don't think I see anyone "wishing" ill on anyone else. I see comments lamenting the effects that stupid, masquerading as a debate posture, has wrought.
I'd prefer these clowns not get sick and die. Not because I give a shit about them, but because they are spreading this thing, providing host material for it to mutate, and they are plugging up the hospitals.

Absent their "not getting sick" would be the "fine, get sick, just do it where you don't affect anyone else" approach.

I think I'm seeing anger caused by the choices others are making. I know I am very angry about the choices others are making.

There is most certainly people wishing ill upon others. It's sad really.

If society truly considers these people a threat to their own safety and the safety of others, then why is it not being managed In that context?

These people are dying because we as a society have failed to protect them and care for them.

You can call them stupid and label yourself as indifferent to their suffering. But if you truly believed these people are intellectually challenged or have some sort of mental competency issues would you care for them any differently?

These people process information differently and have different levels of media literacy. That doesn't mean we should be indifferent to their suffering and deaths.

This isn't a tv show or movie. This is real people dying. These are real families mourning. Can we approach that with some basic dignity?
