Hm, reggae is a fantastic genre and I recommend checking out the Trojan compilations to discover some great artists. Reggae's golden age was back in the 60's and 70's however, but there is a treasure trove of artists from those times and anyone interested should look into hearing these comps. Especially your neighbor, and since are expressing some concern, I would hit him up with some of these tunes, sounds like he needs them.
