Of course whoever called the police didn't have to, but they did. Wouldn't be my approach, but some people don't know what else to do, especially when they have no concept about how dangerous it is to call the police, especially in Portland/Oregon/the United States. The cops showed up and basically did nothing (did they even ask to see your child)?

Honestly, let that shit go. Tens of thousands of Palestinians are being exterminated and over 5000 of them are dead children, and another 5000 are children who are still alive, but have been injured, had their families eradicated, and will live the rest of their lives traumatized by what they are witnessing.

Your kid doesn't even know what happened today.

Remember, changing the world is hard. Start with your little corner of it. If you see a kid, and you think someone is hurting that kid, act. it wont help the Palestinians, but to that kid, it matters.
