2 ---who pays for your stuff?

Capitalism is killing us all and will continue to do so until humanity has destroyed the earth and killed every living thing on it (unless the earth rids itself of us first). It's not a sustainable model. Consumerism cannot be the only reason people exist.

We have a handful of people with enough money to take care of every person on earth 10X over, hoarding it like psychotic, rabid animals, while everyone else is supposed to do more for less and be grateful not to be homeless and starving.

Everyone in this country (and the world, actually), currently complaining about how messed up this system is is WHITE because that's the way the system has always been for everyone else.

Here in the United States, the "American dream" was always a fairy tale and its happy ending meant only for the wealthy and the white. All of them and every exception to the rule are there to make everyone else believe they're just not working hard enough. White people are pissed off that it applies to them, too, now.

Everyone deserves the right to live (not just struggle to barely exist while making billionaires into trillionaires). Everyone. For everyone working three jobs in this country, there are children mining minerals for our consumption of technology. For everyone working three jobs in this country, there are X number of CEOs raking in obscene amounts of money. For everyone working three jobs in this country, there are people worldwide dying for our fast fashion, our cheap, meaningless, unneeded "goods," our refusal to pay the true cost of precious resources that are FINITE, and the constant drumbeat of MORE MORE MORE, CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP, NEW NEW NEW. Capitalism and consumerism are literally strangling the earth - the air, land, and water. Why anyone believes they will escape unscathed is incomprehensible.

Human beings literally could have been ANYTHING and done ANYTHING and this is what we have chosen to do. This is what we have chosen to be. We deserve everything that happens to us.
