Searched for this on Kanopy, but didn't turn up any results; I did find it on Amazon's Prime Movies however (included with Prime). Will watch. Thanks for the highlight.

Another search result was the 2011 'This Is Not a Movie' starring Edward Furlong and Peter Coyote which has a surprisingly high rating. (Also with a score by Slash). Never heard of that either, but might check it out as well, although not included with Prime membership.
