I'm not an expert on the intricacies of our health care system. So maybe this isn't the best course of action in terms of showing solidarity, or even with regards to my own health (clearly I'm a risk taker). But I do know that Providence has increased the cost of my Premium over time when it should be the other way around. It was already way expensive to begin with and now, not only as it gotten more expensive, but things are still so bad over there years after my initial increase that the nurses and other staff have to go on strike? And are now still on strike? No thanks Providence. I'd rather die in agony without medical care than to continue supporting this broken system. Although I do hope things work out well according to what the nurses and everyone else on strike are demanding. You guys are awesome. Quite frankly, you deserve way more than whatever it is that gets passed off as an 'acceptable' deal when it should be so much more.
