Who knew that Gruner and Beaker & Flask were open a dacade ago? I didn't descover those places until 2009! They must have been super secretive and underground before then!

In the third paragraph from the end, the word you're looking for is "loath" not "loathe." To illustrate, someone is loath to do something that he/she loathes.
