Friday night's presentation of Reif's spring/summer 2014 collection filled an unclaimed ground-floor suite of the NE Sandy Bindery development with atmospheric lighting, music, and racks of fresh designs from Lindsey Reif prior to the main event: The slow gathering of models in her spring/summer collection, loosely paired by material type, on stage. Each was given an activity (eating popcorn, using a polaroid) as they lingered onstage, turning the standard runway format on its ear to encourage a longer look. The photos of the collection—all sheer cutouts, one great summery pattern, and a shot of saturated orange paired with Solestruck shoes—are up now over on MOD.
