I saw the 2011 French-Canuckian original version, "Starbuck," it was mildly entertaining. Probably should've been called "Jarfuck," but oh well.

Scimming this review, my only real question is:

How does one become a respected film critic, along the lines of Ebert or Maslin, as opposed to Reed?
At what point does ones love of film entitile them to pass judgement publicly?
