I wasn't feeling it. Brad Pitt wasn't very funny ... and Frances McDormand's character paled in comparison to her other roles (which, one can't help but think of). It's fun to pick apart a genre, and they're pretty great at it usually ... but mixing funnily absurd characters in with an espionage/spy drama didn't work for me. It wasn't funny enough or tense enough.
Then again, maybe it gets better every time you watch it, like most of the Coens' offbeat flicks.
