There's a lot of good stuff on the menu this year. I'm particularly happy to see Wild Grass, since I suspect it was edged out of a Palm last year by the Huppert-run jury. However, in the arena of francophilia, I'm disappointed that Jacques Rivette's 36 vues is not playing. It will probably be his last.

it is nice to see that the Mercury actually did their homework and wrote a thoughtful piece about PIFF this year. the annual (and ignorant) "PIFF is lame" articles were getting pretty boring.
