And so the Aronofsky cycle is complete again. It goes something like this:

1. Understated, critically acclaimed movie about obsessive, self-destructive person. (Pi, The Wrestler)

2. Flashier, more experimental movie about obsessive, self-destructive person/persons. (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan)

3. Balls-out insanity fuck fest of lofty and epic proportions. (The one about the tree in space, Noah)

Can't wait for his next movie!
