Black Prairie's A Tear in the Eye is a Wound in the Heart… comes out next week on September 18, which is basically when every album ever recorded in Portland is coming out. The record is streaming, in full, over on Paste.
Black Prairie, which includes three-fifths—and sometimes four-fifths—of the Decemberists (depending if drummer Jon Moen sits in), play a record release show at Mississippi Studios on Friday, September 21. They'll be playing lots of tunes from A Tear in the Eye is a Wound in the Heart…. No word if they'll play anything from the Faces' A Nod Is as Good as a Wink... but we assume not.
