The Doug Fir kicks off its eight-year anniversary tonight—eight years? Wow, I remember when it opened and am therefore ancient—and as they have for past anniversaries, they're offering some specials to go along with a full eight days of shows. The best perk is that if you buy a ticket to any of these shows, they'll enter you in a contest for which the grand prize is a VIP pass for two to every in Doug Fir show in 2013. That's not good enough for you, rummy? They'll throw in an $800 food/beverage credit, which conservatively works out to, at the very least, a PBR a night.

Jesus, that is a good prize.

There's other stuff, like the first 25 people in the door each night get a coozie, and there are some two-for-one food specials. There's more info at the Doug Fir's site, but in the meantime, look at the shows they've got lined up for the next eight days, and know that somewhere, somehow, some dick is going to win that VIP pass. You could totally be that dick, dick!
