Like a bunch of confused crocuses, Festival Lineup Announcement Season has come early this year, and Washington State's Sasquatch! Festival is no exception. Last night the annual music fest announced who would be performing for its 15th year. Let's take a look at the poster (like all worthwhile things, you can click on it to make it bigger):
Hey hey, good news for fans of the Cure and Florence and the Machine! But even with your loveclicks, it might be hard to see what's really worth getting excited about in the small print at the bottom of the poster. Click the jump (oh god, more clicking?) to get a better idea of what's in store:

It's rare for Sasquatch! to have a headliner that becomes a destination act in itself—although, for some, I guess the Cure could justify the cost of a weekend ticket—but as always, the festival proves its worth by the sheer breadth and depth and total mass of their lineup. There's no one act I would drive six hours to central Washington to see, but you put about 50 or so bands I'd happily see in Portland any night of the week, and throw 'em all together in the Gorge (not literally in the Gorge, although you never know), and you get the makings of a pretty good festival.
Tickets went on sale at 10:00 this morning, so if you have the funds, the wherewithal, and the lack of gray hairs to get you through a four-day weekend of this stuff, have at it.
