Behold, the Mercury's April playlist, a collection of 30 songs from artists playing in Portland this month.

There's a lot going on in April: Lizzo is making her way back to Portland for two sold-out nights at the Roseland, and Soul'd Out Festival returns April 16-21 with a lineup that includes reunited hip-hop duo Eric B. & Rakim, masked Brooklyn rapper Leikeli47, psychedelic soul singer Kadhja Bonet, and self-described "beat scientist" Makaya McCraven. Other highlights: rising pop-star Maggie Rogers, queer icon King Princess, and local singer/songwriter Damien Jurado, who's releasing a new album this month called In the Shape of a Storm.
