I heard on OPB that Jon Anderson wanted to do this tour. However, because of his asthma he could not commit to the tour on the present timetable. He asked them to postpone it for 1 month so that he could complete his recovery and then go on the road. The band said they were going ahead with their plans to tour without him. I guess the other members didn't feel his contributions to the band earned him that luxury ,so they brought in a tribute band vocalist. To me , YES is not complete without Jon Anderson. He has always been the anchor to this band even as their lineup changed throughout the years. Jon Anderson was encouraging fans of YES not to buy tickets for this tour and wait until he tours with the band. I can wait.
