Why do people still like this guy? I don't believe it. I think it's a perpetuated myth that AWK is somehow actually "popular".

How can you not? Watch any interview or performance he's done. For some reason the dude's just extremely likeable.

I did watch him, more than ten years ago, in the spirit of "open-mindedness". Did not like THEN nor NOW.

AWK is extremely intelligent and talented, though his songs might come off as "simple". He plays every instrument on his albums, can you even play one? I can't really understand why people feel the need to cut down rock or metal musicians, that actually play musical instruments. Guess you'd rather listen to Lil Wayne or Chris Brown garbage, none of them can play anything except the keyboard on their computer generated crap.
