I loved her first album, but when I saw Jessica Pratt at Pickathon a couple years back she was a total... prat. Sullen and haughty, refusing to engage with the audience or interviewer to the point of being rude - why agree to perform in that space, then? It was cringe-worthy. I now have a hard time separating her [pretty-good] art from the artist.
I'd be interested to know if she's had an attitude adjustment since or if the move to LA was just to be closer to her people.
