I'm still regretting throwing out all of grandad's old clothing. Would be soo in style now. But it reeked of formaldehyde from the funeral home he owned
We must have overlapped at a bunch of those shows.
When they broke up (paused, took a really long sabbatical, hiatus, whatever), I was about as sad as I've been about a music group ending. I spent a while in the anger stage of mourning and didn't listen to their albums at all. Then I started listening again (but a bit grudgingly to keep my heart safe). Finally, I thought I had come to peace with it. AND THEN THEY GOT BACK TOGETHER. I couldn't be bothered to get tickets to their show since apparently I wasn't at peace with it -- how dare they not entertain me endlessly through my adulthood?!? But then I pulled myself together and listened to the new album. Which is great. So I'll probably get over myself and go to a show. If they have another one and I can stay up past 9pm and don't have to spend toooo much money. So I'm keeping my affection curbed -- which might be easier now than 20 years ago.
