Good for him. We decided as a country long ago that we value the feeling of being safe far more than actually being safe. None of the TSA screening horseshit does anything to catch or deter terrorists. It simply makes us feel like they have done everything they can to keep someone from hijacking the next flight.

Other countries with real national security priorities (Germany, Israel, Italy) laugh at us. They actually do.

I think he was making a point...a real point. Bravo for him! I do realize the TSA agents are getting paid to do a job, and that they are instructed to do "this and that" when "alarm" sounds, but good God, they are mauling 6-year-olds, stripping 90-year-olds to their panties and sticking their hands in men's AND women's croches. How bout we bring out the head of TSA and strip that a-hole down to his panties and let a few hundred people stick they're grubby hands on his sac an see how well he likes it...EVERY TIME HE FLYS.

All blessings upon you Mr. Brennan. TSA is not keeping us safer with their invasive pat downs and all one must go through now to board a plane. It is demeaning and it is not making us safer. That people are so enthusiastically compliant to this stupidity is perplexing to me. And it is happening just the same in Europe as here.
