We could start by restricting demolition of sound (small) houses. Too many great houses in NE Portland are being torn down to build oversized new construction.
I'm not enthusiastic about Inclusionary Zoning, but I don't need to be to support overturning the ban.
Why would I stop other towns from pursuing that option? And why would I want other towns to able to veto that in Portland? This is a local policy question with local impacts that ought to be handled by local jurisdictions.
A single statewide requirement whether it's a prohibition or a mandate makes no sense.
