All those innovative corporate startups that we're spending money trying to lure to our perfect, image-conscious, vibrant, creative, weird, bohemian choadsludge of a town...I'm sure they'll be willing to contribute to the public infrastructure, right? Right!!??? We just need to subsidize more private companies with public funds so that they will then feel compelled to drizzle their generosity upon us.
