Progressive candidates don't shill that hard for the CRC.

Ted Wheeler has longed for an opportunity to have a contested run for the mayors office. This is good for Portland's most vulnerable and fragile individuals. Anything worth while must be fought for and earned and Wheeler gets that - he's a fighter and a competitor. Let the SHOWDOWN begin I say...

Really? Like Bailey didn't already rake in cash via his PAC? $500 from Natural Gas Political Action Committee in July 2015. $1000 from the Oregon Soft Drink PAC, who opposed the Mutlnomah County bid to get the word out about the high levels of sugar in soft drinks. Plus another $1000 from Coca-Cola.

The $250 donation limit also works to get donor secret, because at the level you don't have to record who gave you the money.

I'll never forget Wheeler's misuse of the public records laws to obtain my email address and add me and thousands of others to his campaign mailing list. Glad to see opposition.
