We elected Erik Sten when he was still in his 20s, right? Chloe Eudaly is not that far-fetched a candidate. 😊
2
She has a 14-15 year old son, and much wisdom. 35 is old enough to run for President. If she's in her 20s, I doubt it.
3
Chloe's commitment to community, her knowledge of (and position on) the issues, and her long history in this city make her an ideal candidate. She's eminently qualified and I hope she decides to run.

Portland would be lucky to have Chloe in office to serve the people!
5
Best of all, she isn't Steve Novick,
6
a true representative of portland renters. yes please chloe!

I like Steve Novick. But there is no downside to Chloe running. It can be the entry point to other political roles and I believe she has a lot to contribute. In a campaign, she can shift the debate. Run Chloe, run!

I encourage Chloe to run against Fritz. When it comes to progressive renter-friendly housing and transportation policy, I think Novick is the closest thing to a friend we have on the council.

If anyone can present a real honest picture of what is going on via personal experience and through working closely with the community in a very plain and sober way , it is Ms.Chloe Eudaly .
She has not only contributed so much to Portland culture , but has given herself tirelessly to the very detrimental issues of Portland's changes which very prominently involve the housing crisis .
And yes Virginia , there is a housing crisis in Portland Oregon!
We need to return to Oregon values . Not some hollow nostalgia , but to truly hear the voices of those who are natives and who have really dedicated themselves to simply trying to live , run a non profit business and community center , raise a child with special needs and continue to advocate for infinite others! Chloe Eudaly is a true leader and a true champion for all we hold true!

@takethelane, in what reality do you think that Novick is a friend to renters? I don't think he's actively opposing stronger protections and housing stability, but he's sure not advocating for it either. He sure didn't come out for the housing rally yesterday, despite a personal invitation to him as he hustled into City Hall hoping to escape notice. He said "he didn't hear it was happening" as he practically broke into a sprint while we were setting up 30 minutes before it started.

I have known Chloe for a decade or so. She is intelligent, highly principled, and very perceptive. I would vote for her in a heartbeat - and will volunteer for her campaign if she runs, as I hope.

Please wait...
