I'm really enjoying all the new shanty towns full of trash and stolen junk popping up all over Powell Blvd.. Even better is the profoundly mentally ill lunatics walking up and down the residential streets screaming at each other while dropping their trash everywhere. It really makes me and my family feel great to live in such a tolerant city.

there is a difference between mass sleeping and mass camping. Break people up with cops or with tents it has the same effect- hence the issues over the last three years, two of which were prior to legalizing tents.

Oh my god where is the list of businesses involved in this lawsuit. I want to stop shopping at them immediately.

besides, a handful of PBA folks were the ones who triggered the problem in the first place when they urged hales to break up mass SLEEPING in the downtown area 3 years ago. I guess they deserve the best of every world and compensation from tax payers when they do not get it.

It might be time to start thinking of Portland as a SUBSISTENCE city instead of a SUSTAINABLE city.

BTW, way to take a stand Suzette. That's gonna be the difference maker right there.

Between excessively lenient camping policies and continued global warming, anyone who wants a sneak preview of Portland in 15 years can take a walking tour through Skid Row in Los Angeles. Fun for the whole family!
