I'm curious, where did the mental health issues come from? You didn't present any evidence of it. What is the assumption based on? Sure, you could argue that a 24yr old living at home with presumably no job is mentally deficient. You could argue that a homeless person is mentally deficient. Those comments would likely get you attacked by papers like this, so surely that's not what you meant.

Perhaps you just wanted to establish victimhood. A post mortem excuse for his behavior in support of the idea that he deserved sympathy.

The only regrettable thing about this incident is that one of the people he was threatening wasn't the one to put him down.

Thanks O.J. Your implication that he was an animal who needed to be "put down" is a lovely justification for extra judicial killings by police. "Displayed a box cutter" is not a defense for firing several shots into a human neing when the officer is protected by mace, club, tazer, and kevlar. If by "postmortem excuse for his behavior" you mean "its ok to deliberately murder someone with a box cutter even though you out gun them by a factor of 10 to 1 beacause there's no evidence that they were mentally ill", then I guess you made some kind of point?

Please wait...
