• Followers of Ammon Bundy surrounded an Idaho hospital yesterday, after the far-right leader called on them to help him with a child protection case. Officials said the child in question had been removed from its parents home due to severe malnourishment. Bundy supporters stood outside the hospital's doors and speculated on social media about using underground tunnel enter the building.

IN INTERNATIONAL/NATIONAL NEWS:

• Is it time for a second boost? Yesterday, pharmaceutical and biotech corp Pfizer requested an emergency approval from the FDA of a second boost for adults 65 and older.

• Which brings to mind the question, when will I—an unvaccinated major league baseball player—be able to play at major league ball games in New York City? It's looking kind of like never!

• President Volodymyr Zelenskyy pleaded with Congress for US help in creating a no-fly zone over Ukraine—as Russia continues to pummel Zelenskyy's nation with missiles. In past weeks, he directly petitioned NATO with little result. The European / North American alliance hesitated over concerns that such a move could spark a wider conflict with nuclear-armed Russia.
