Thousands Wait in Winter Weather for Free Care

What's the difference b/t AMERICA & the rest of the world?

In other countries, you get FREE health/dental care courtesy of the govt. You know, kinda like SOCIALISM, SOCIALISM, SOCIALISM. All expenses/care paid for.

In AMERICA, "free" dental care means standing in a long-ass line all night in the freezing cold, getting your teeth pulled, NO painkillers, NO follow-up, NO post-care, barely a local anistetic, & not even a fucking lolly pop.

The decline of the empire can't come soon enough, & what a fucking marvalous event it will be!

While I await the decline of the empire as well, you do realize that there is no FREE anything, right? All goods and services are paid for. Since governments have no money, they must tax, borrow, or inflate to pay for these goods and services. So the real question are: who pays and who is given the moral authority to determine the worth of goods and services?

If one man has a right, another has an obligation. From where are you deriving this entitlement to another man's labor? Where are you deriving the authority to determine his compensation for said labor? What if he does not wish to labor for that wage, or does not wish to labor at all? How shall you get him to cooperate?

I still say the way it's done in OTHER COUNTRIES is far & awat better than the way it's done HERE.

I'm inclined to agree. We get the worst of both worlds here. He have corporate care.

he = we

We all benefit from everyone having proper access to adequate (or better) care. We also all suffer when others are denied such access. That sniffler on the bus who keeps coughing and sneezing isn't doing so just to bug you. If s/he could afford to take the time to stay home and get well, s/he would. The children whose parents can afford to stay home with them when they're sick, or pay someone to care for them, will.
Each individual's health is vital to public health, which is the responsibility of the state. Our right to health care entails our obligation to fund it (including wages for providers) for everyone.
