This is the second time that Denis has stated the cops did not retreat when Hatch charged them. From reports, the cops appear to have had him contained. If they had lost containment on a guy who claimed to want to take hostages and who they believed was armed with a gun, they would have been grossly negligent in their duties. You can fly criticism of this thing up the flag pole, but none but the most ardent haters are going to salute it.
