The City Doesn't Have a Ton of Money for Housing. But It's Got Property.

I think one of the problems is believing that the city council actually gives a shit about the housing crisis, when really them courting out of state developers and other companies that exacerbate gentrification like Uber and AirBNB makes the city a lot of money. And then they get to sell us as "liveable" to the hordes of techies and suburbanites that want to move here.

Fascists make too much money off the homeless to want to either help them or eliminate them all together. There is no public political will to prod government into doing anything beneficial, because most everybody hates the homeless, anyway. The churches could open their doors and let the poor sleep in the vacant pews at night, but the congregation are the same people who vote and have kicked the mentally disabled or otherwise disagreeable relatives out in the street in the first place. The only hope for the poor, is to get their hands on some good Cannabis seeds, go up to Forest Park, deep in the woods, and plant a guerilla patch.

States and Federal Governments hoards millions of acres of vacant land, while homeless are herded onto sidewalks. Even the liberated negro slaves each got forty acres and a mule. All I need is half an acre with a tall, border hedge of Holly and a greenhouse in the middle. Fork it the fuck over. Now. I mean it. Grant's Pass would be fine.

Where's my forty acres and a mule, damnit!
