How St. Paul Protests the Republican National Convention

Huh, police terrified by bad 80's music and "Make Hockey Not War!" signs? (BTW, the best slogan EVER!)

If cops are so willing to flush people out for this silly shit, whats going to happen when the real revolution happens?

[A block away, a church turned on its hose to wash down tear-gassed protestors.]

HORRIBLE. American citizens peacefully protesting were attacked with CHEMICAL WEAPONS and had to go to a CHURCH for help FROM THE POLICE??? As in MEXICO?

And NOW they are legalizing PREEMPTIVE ARRESTS? As in NAZI SS?!
The "Minnesota 8" are being charged with 'conspiracy to riot' and are facing 7 1/2 YEARS IN PRISON!! SEVEN AND A HALF YEARS! YEARS!!!

FOR A CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED RIGHT IN AMERICA!

How many MORE innocent bystanders were sprayed, shot and arrested LAST night??? 400 more were put in jail just yesterday.
FOUR HUNDRED!

Wake UP AMERIKKKA

"Those that make peaceful protest impossible, make violent revolution inevitable."

From what I understand only 2 protesters were arrested in Denver. I just read a story about some dude in St. Paul who was walking down the street in his own neighborhood, minding his own business. Apparently out of nowhere he was assaulted by riot police and arrested. Oh yeah, he just happens to be black. What is wrong with this picture?

I'm a bit disappointed that Phil Busse did not mention four journalists were arrested at the RNC Iraq War protests. Three from Democracy Now and an AP photographer. There was very very little coverage of this in the mainstream media....and it seems in even the Portland Mercury.

Please wait...
