• PPS and the Teachers' Union Ratified a Contract Agreement. Now What?
The PPS Board of Education and teachers both voted "yes" on a new labor contract this week, officially ending the historic teachers' strike that began November 1. But educators, district leaders, and students have lingering questions and concerns.

• A Decade After Federal Directives, Portland Police Will Start Using Body Cameras Full-Time
A long-delayed plan to outfit the Portland Police Bureau with body cameras is expected to be implemented next year. The city's $2.6 million contract with Axon comes years after the company lobbied the city and helped inform body camera policy in Portland.
