Portland Hearings Officer Signs Off on PGE's Forest Park Utility Plan

A city hearings officer approved a plan for Portland General Electric to remove about 400 trees from a swath of Forest Park to make way for new transmission lines. The decision came despite Portland’s own Permitting and Development Bureau recommending against the utility company's proposal.
