They must have just seen Reefer madness.
2
I saw some other similar billboard that said "They told me marijuana wasn't a gateway drug. They were wrong."
3
... and no one has noticed the same billboard up at like 20th and Burnside?
4
Don't take it down! These things are hilarious if you're high!
5
THE MARIJUANA LEGALIZATION BILL AS WRITTEN IS STILL SHITTY REGARDLESS OF THESE SILLY BILLBOARDS AND I'M STILL VOTING NO ON IT DESPITE THESE SILLY BILLBOARDS.
6
The billboard is also poorly designed: it looks less like an anonymous meth head and a lot more like some emaciated thirteen year old.

And say what you will about people who touch the reefer all the time; they don't tend to be ill-fed.
7
The first draft billboard probably had a picture of a smiling Seth Rogen.
8
Thai stick? OR DIE STICK?

Skunk weed? OR SHRIVEL-UP-YOUR-JUNK WEED?

I don't know why W+K hasn't called me yet.
9
There were actually 7 total billboards and they ALL came down as a result of this protest....

The War on Drugs failed $1 Trillion ago! This money could have been used for outreach programs to clean up the bad end of drug abuse by providing free HIV testing, free rehab, and clean needles. Harmless drugs like marijuana could be legalized to help boost our damaged economy. Cannabis can provide hemp for countless natural resources and the tax revenue from sales alone would pull every state in our country out of the red! Vote Teapot, PASS IT, and legalize it. Voice you opinion with the movement and read more on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/01…

Oh god I saw the one on Burnside the other night, and laughed all the way home. Who knew nuggies turned you into a meth-head/zombie?

This is a SERIOUS threat, you guys! This kid I went to school with once had a WHOLE marijuana and we never saw him again!

It's about time. Yet another example of out of state money attempting to influence state elections.

Protectoursociety.org is paid for by a group in Florida, you have to do a bit of digging to find the info, but it's there.

Please wait...
