I like a lot of things about Portland, and I'm glad I moved here from the crappy part of the country I grew up in, and you natives are welcome to hate on me because—welp, that's your right. But, I digress... my dirty little transplant secret is that I don't like food carts. Standing around, in the elements, with a crowd of strangers, amid a cloud of foul smelling... whatever it is that happens when people don't clean their hoods and fryers? EW. Eating standing up? AWFUL. And there's nowhere to wash my hands? GAG ME. I pretend to like them because other people get so damn excited about it, and I don't want to rain on the proverbial parade. But: They are gross.—Anonymous
