That's funny, I thought Bruce's answer made sense. A person commits to someone, then, on what sounds like a mixture of a whim and pure disregard for any previous commitment, debates making everyone "uncomfortable" as she puts it to pursue this whim, and most likely wreck another semi-contractual agreement, a friendship.
That's the problem with choosing to be a libertine after the fact. If it's all up front at the beginning and that's cool with everyone, Dan's right. If not, this girl is a total douchebag, and Dan's advice is basically "get what you want, fuck everyone else".
