Corbin LaMont is a local artist and Frances May is a local store front. Put ’em together and you’ve def gotß Design Week heaven. If you’re not familiar, Design Week is “a weeklong series of interactive events, installations, and conversations showcasing the evolving state of design in PDX.” It’s awesome, and one of the thousand reasons why we’re so lucky to live in this city. Anyway, Corbin did up the windows really cool for Frances May’s b-day and also selfie-fied the fitting rooms with “secret artist vinyl installations,” so you should totally pop in and check ’em out. Also, I got to drink rosé in a can by Union Wine Company—a real staple of the PDX event game at this point. All in all, I knew this event would be well attended by THE most fashionable women in Portland, and I was not wrong. (Corbin, you’ve got some good friends. Ladies, it was a joy to catch up with each and every one of you.) Check out the lovely people in attendance.
