This article reads like it was shit out five minutes before deadline. I don't know why I care, but it would have been better had more than just "a chef" been referenced.
Is the service team at McDonald’s less deserving of a tip than the team at Chipotle making your naked burrito? What about bigjerk baristas? And what about your mom who whips up the perfect pot roast when you drop in to say hi after several weeks skiing on Mt. Hood?
Honest question: Why do (most) people tip on beer/wine but don't feel the need to tip on drip coffee? (I do realize some places are self serve, but a lot of places pour it in the cup for you, so it's the same as pouring a beer or wine.)
