Suspension of disbelief or "willing suspension of disbelief" is a formula named
as such in English by the poet and aesthetic philosopher Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
According to the theory, suspension of disbelief is a quid pro quo: the audience tacitly agrees to provisionally suspend their judgment in exchange for the promise of entertainment. These fictional premises may also lend to the engagement of the mind and perhaps proposition of thoughts, ideas, art and theories.

Meh. She's maybe not an 'idiot' but very cleary a 'baby' journalist. Sounds like it wasn't her cup of tea or, more likely, she couldn't really understand it and instead of just owning that, she put it back on Mr. Harder and his show. Sometimes I feel like the theatre reviewers from this paper don't really have any theatre background at all and they make up for that lack of knowledge with sarcasm/'snarkism' which is really just a from of violence. But; whatever... I saw this show and it was AMAZING. Total Commitment to artistic risk with Harder. Go see it ! It closes Sunday.
