Portland Beer Week
The annual celebration of all things beery and beautiful in the Pacific Northwest returns in grand style, stretching the definition of "week" to encompass 10 whole days, and sprawling all over the city like a freshly shaken can of lager popped with no regard, featuring a wide range of events at notable breweries, hotels, theaters, and restaurants. The Portland Mercury's Wing Week
Featuring wings that range from spicy to savory, and taking place at great restaurants and bars all over town, the Portland Mercury’s Wing Week isn’t to be missed. Clear your schedule, and prepare your body for WINGS. (June 24-29, Various Locations Across Portland, $5)


Portland Cider Co. Luau
Portland Cider Co. kicks off summer with an outdoor Luau, including a Hawaiian menu, a tropical photo booth, Hula dance performances and lessons for kids between 3-5pm, and the chance to drink Pineapple Ciders out of a whole Pineapple. (Sat June 1, noon, Portland Cider Company, $9 and up)

Crush on Oregon
Castaway hosts this wine-lover's wonderland gathering over 40 Oregon wineries providing over 80 wines to taste (and take home with you) paired with locally sourced foods, with live music scoring all the fun. Proceeds benefit the Oregon Food Bank. (Sun June 2, 11:30 am, Castaway, $50-65)

Taste of Asia
The annual event providing Lan Su visitors an opportunity to experience the wide variety of tastes found in China, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, and the Philippines, as well as watch a lion dance, listen to live music, and more. (Thurs June 6, 7 pm, Lan Su Chinese Garden, $25-45)

Corks + Forks
Classic Wines Auction presents this tasting event featuring local wines and bites, with proceeds helping benefit local nonprofits. (Thurs June 6, 6 pm, The Redd on Salmon, $65)

Block 15 Brewing Collaboration Dinner
Corvallis beer up-and-comers Block 15 come to Ned Ludd to work on this beer dinner that pairs their brews with a five-course dinner created specifically for this event. (Sat June 8, 6 pm, Ned Ludd, $69)

Portland Scandinavian Midsummer Festival
A Summer Solstice celebration, Norwegian-style, featuring live music, food, a beer garden, a Maypole raising, and of course, dancing around that Maypole. Sat June 8, 11 am, Oaks Amusement Park, $8-17)

Puerto Rican Block Party 2.0
Mario Juan provides the food, John Rodriguez provides the drinks, Neftali Grupo Borikuas gifts the sounds, and Don Q Rum spices up the Nightwood with this block party celebrating Puerto Rican culture and flavors. Admission includes a combo plate and a cocktail. Hosted by Cristina BĂĄez. (Sun June 9, 3 pm, The Nightwood Society, $30)

Bean to Bar: Chocolate & Beer Festival
I don't know if the fans of IPAs would be quick to agree, what with their taste buds attuned to interesting flavors like "forest floor" and "old loam," but chocolate beers are the best beers, and this darkly delicious PDX Beer Week event is the proof, with 10 local chocolatiers providing their quality product to be paired with a northwest brewery happy to compliment those flavors. Brewers Burger Brawl
Portland Beer Week heats up with this competitive combination of burger and brew, featuring four rounds of local breweries vying for bragging rights, with pFriem, Wayfinder, Von Ebert, and Stormbreaker all out to prove they can make equally great burgers to go along with their beers. Admission includes four sliders, four 5oz beers, complimentary fries and Salt & Straw ice cream while supplies last. (Wed June 12, 11:30 am & 1:30 pm, Wayfinder Beer, $35)

Nordic + Northwest
Chef Aaron Barnett hosts an evening of Nordic delights with his friend, Dill & Systir's Ólafur "Óli" ÁugĂșstsson, featuring a one-night-only four-course pre-fixe dinner paired with aged and sour beers carefully selected from the Breakside Brewing cellar. (Wed June 12, 7 pm, St. Jack, $85)

Phoenix Rising for Haiti Fundraiser
Mathilde's Kitchen provides an authentic taste of Haiti at this fundraiser to benefit Phoenix Rising for Haiti, a non-profit providing the city of Port-de-Paix free medical care. Meals are $10 a plate, and the evening includes a silent auction, a raffle, and an opportunity to hear true stories from Mathilde herself, as well as PRH founder Billy Abril. (Sat June 15, 2 pm, Baerlic Brewing Company, $10)

Portland Beer and Cheese Fest
The two greatest things in life—beer and cheese—go together splendidly, and yet, 364 days out of the year, there is no local festival celebrating the magical union they can provide. That shameful void is filled today in the most delicious way possible with the Portland Beer and Cheese Fest; Cheesemonger Steve Jones has prepared a bevy of magnificent beer-and-cheese pairings, and your ticket gets you 10 of them. Snackdown!
While the event's name is inspired by professional wrestling, Snackdown shouldn't be quite that rowdy. But who knows! 10 brewers and 10 chefs pair off for a beer dinner with a fun atmosphere enhanced and amplified via music from Rev Shines. Admission includes 10 small plates and 10 pours. Cider Summit Portland
Oregon's largest cider tasting festival returns, featuring nearly 200 ciders from producers nationwide, available in 2 oz. tasters from a souvenir glass, with food from an array of local vendors, a dog lounge hosted by DoveLewis, and live music in conjunction with the Cascade Blues Association. (Fri-Sat June 21-22, noon, The Fields, $25-35)

Good in the Hood Multicultural Music, Arts, & Food Festival
The annual Good in the Hood festival, the largest multicultural festival in the Pacific Northwest, has been going strong for 27 years! The family-friendly event will have a kids’ space to play, and a parade starting at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center that’ll kick-off Saturday’s celebration. The rest of the weekend’s packed with live jazz, blues, soul and hip-hop. There’s also a multicultural marketplace with a plethora of food, arts and craft vendors. Saké Fest PDX
Why should beer and cider get all the fun? A festival with almost 200 different samples to sip from, with food pairings offered by 15 local chefs. (Wed June 26, 5:30 pm, Oregon Convention Center, $59-79)

Tequila & Margarita Summer Festival
If ever you wanted to discover who in Portland really does make the best Margarita, this festival aims to provide the answer, with local bars and spirit-makers offering up their twist on the classic drink, and your tastebuds will help decide the winner. With live music, Lucha Libre Wrestling, and plenty of tasty food to keep you fueled all evening long. (Sat June 29, 4 pm, The Redd on Salmon, $15-55)

Portland International Beerfest 2019
Three days of swimming in over 200 rare and exotic beers and ciders, games (you can't drink this much beer and not play some darts, right?) pub grub from a wide variety of vendors, the Grande Beer Garden where full pints can be purchased, free re-entry all weekend, and much more.
