SLAY: Pride Edition
Let your freak flag fly high at Slay, a dance party that puts LGBTQ+ people and people of color first. Allies are welcome, but Slay is first and foremost about creating a safe space for marginalized communitiesā€”so that they can have a good time. Pride Block Party
Scandals joins forces with McMenamin's Crystal Hotel/Zeus Cafe and Peacock Productions to throw the biggest Pride block party yet. With three days ofĀ live music, the best DJs, drag shows, and more, all benefitting the Cascade AIDS Project, the Audria M. Edwards scholarship fund, and Pride NW. Black Filmmaker Fellowship Screening & Celebration
Local filmmakers Kamryn Fall, Elijah Hasan, Tamera Lyn, Sika Stanton, Noah Thomas, Dustin Tolman, Ifanyi Bell, and RaShaunda Brooks share excerpts of new works focusing on gentrification, Portland police, African identity, music, fashion and more. This event doubles as a fundraiser for Open Signal Labs, a new incubator for Black filmmakers based in Portland and will be followed by an after-party at the Doug Fir Lounge featuring music from DJ Kream, Brown Calculus, and Fountaine. Power to the Youth
Generation Z is ascending, and itā€™s time to get on board. The CENTER Youth Collectiveā€”a sort of community center for teenagers passionate about social justiceā€”hosts this block party, which will feature youth-produced art, poetry, music, and free food. In addition to being an all-around good time, this is a great opportunity to make connections with the next generation of leaders in our community. CAKE: Pride

The 11th Annual Rose City Round-Up
This motor-scootin' extravaganza is moving to Portland International Raceway, where they'll have ample space to accommodate all the outsized automotive fun on deck, including live music, food, drink, and of course, tons of beautiful automobiles from all eras. Proceeds benefit Mount Hood Kiwanis Camp. (Sat 8 am, Portland International Raceway, free, all ages)

Kulululu, Fell Runner, Sheers

Distillery Row Negroni Cocktail Crawl
A day dedicated to sipping the finest spirits as expertly mixed by the eight craft distillers (and two guests from the NW Distiller's District) that make up Distillery Row, and this month's cocktail of choice is the Negroni, with a wide variety of twists on the century-old drink. USA Women's World Cup Viewing Party

"You Don't Know Me!" Comedy Showcase

Belgianfest
It's not PDX Beer Week without this celebration of Belgian beers at North 45, with Chef Katie's Belgian frites, mussels, and items from the regular menu available to nosh on while sampling from a whole bunch of Belgian beer deliciousness. $10 admission includes a tasting glass, two tokens, and a raffle ticket, with additional 3oz. tastes at $2.
