Best known for consistently stealing any and all scenes he's ever appeared in on Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm (and also Spider-Man: Far From Home), JB Smoove is forever beloved as the narrator in the comedy monolith that is Pootie Tang. About Something
Hosts D Martin Austin and Carlos Kareem Windham head up this stand-up comedy and live music showcase at the Jack London Revue, with an emphasis on creating a space for People of Color and folks of all genders to perform, laugh, and shake their asses on the dance floor. Savages: A Prestige Stand-Up Showcase
Portland comedy scene staples Adam Pasi, Amanda Arnold, and Nariko Ott head up this brand-new comedy showcase every first Saturday at the Kickstand space. Crime Junkie: Live
Get your true crime fix when host Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat bring their popular podcast to the Revolution Hall stage for the Portland stop on their first-ever live tour. (Thurs Nov 7, 8 pm, Revolution Hall, $35, all ages)

We Hate Movies: Live
New York City-based comedians Andrew Jupin, Stephen Sajdak, Eric Szyszka, and Chris Cabin bring their popular bad-movie podcast to the Aladdin Theater stage for an all-ages Portland stop on their latest North American tour. (Thurs Nov 7, 7 pm, Aladdin Theater, $25, all ages)

Morgan Murphy
The Portland-born and L.A.-based comedian, actress, and writer known for her 2013 Netflix special Irish Goodbye returns to her hometown to head up a full weekend of shows at Helium. (Nov 7-9, Thurs 8 pm, Fri-Sat 7:30 pm & 10 pm, Helium Comedy Club, $17-33)

David Sedaris
If you think you’re too cool for David Sedaris—the first of his name, brother of Amy, author of NPR’s old reliable holiday mainstay (c’mon, the Santaland Diaries is GOOD) and such humorist delights as Me Talk Pretty One Day and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim—you’re lying to yourself and you need to stop. Hell Hath No Funny
You can always count on Siren Nation coming through town and putting together one hell of a lady-centric night of comedy. The I, Anonymous Show
Ah, I, Anonymous: That beloved part of the Mercury where mysterious, unknown heroes, jerks, and freaks say whatever profound, horrible, freakish shit they want. And oh, do they ever. But here’s a secret: It’s even better in live form at The I, Anonymous Show, where some of Portland’s funniest comics react and reflect on some of the Mercury's particularly excellent anonymous offerings! This time around, it’s a special show at the Siren Theater as part of the Pacific Crest Comedy Fest—boasting a lineup of including Bri Pruett, Caitlin Weierhauser, and Steven Wilber. Taylor Tomlinson
Taylor Tomlinson is kind of like a machine gun that shoots jokes instead of bullets. Given the nation’s current lack of reasonable gun control reform, I know that metaphor makes everyone a little scared. But maybe you should be afraid of Tomlinson. The Hard Times Live
The beloved Portland/Bay Area-based satirical punk news site is releasing a book, The Hard Times: The First 40 Years, a ’zine-style retrospective chronicling punk from its origins to the present-day. To celebrate the occasion, Hard Times Editor in Chief Bill Conway is linking up with Portland comics Nariko Ott, Philip Schallberger, Jake Silberman, Wendy Weiss, Dylan Jenkins, and Chris Nakis to present a night of stand-up, characters, a/v presentations, and true behind the scenes stories. Abortion AF: The Tour
Comedians Lizz Winstead (Co-Creator of The Daily Show) and Beth Stelling (Netflix's The Standups) link up with Portland's own Brandon Lyons to for the Portland stop on Abortion Access Front's "Abortion AF" Tour, an activism roadshow created by the reproductive rights non-profit that Winstead heads up. The performance will also feature a post-show talkback with local abortion providers and activists, plus an info booth on direct action items. (Tues Nov 12, 7:30 pm, Alberta Rose Theatre, $20)

The New Negroes Live
Portland comedy fans might recall that comedian Baron Vaughn and rapper Open Mike Eagle's acclaimed Comedy Central series spotlighting comedians of color got its start right here at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. They'll also remember how popular the showcase was, so be sure to grab your tickets in advance. (Thurs Nov 14, 7:30 pm & 10 pm, Doug Fir, $25)

Bianca Del Rio: It's Jester Joke
If you’re not familiar with the sharp-tongued comedy of drag artist Bianca Del Rio (real name Roy Haylock), let’s get you up to speed! Bianca took home the crown in season six of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, and is widely regarded as one of the world’s most hilarious insult comics. BUT THAT IS NOT ALL. She’s also the quick-witted darling who will beguile and entertain you with wild true life stories, all peppered with her signature filthy language. Helium hosts a weekend of stand-up with the Los Angeles-based comedian and actress who came up in New York City as a student at the Upright Citizens Brigade and went on to become the host of Netflix's hit comedic reality bake-off, Nailed It, as well as make appearances on MTV’s Girl Code, 30 Rock, @Midnight, and Conan. Jason Nash
The Los Angeles-via-Boston comedian and internet personality who reached the semi-finals on Last Comic Standing in 2010 before breaking out on Vine and YouTube later in his career brings the "Rest When I'm Dead" Tour to the Wonder Ballroom. Spectravagasm: Holidazed!
The Christmas-themed edition of the out-there sketch comedy show from writer/director Sam Dinkowitz returns, starring Santa, the Grinch, Jesus, and Scrooge, and featuring Keith Cable, Diane Kondrat, Jim Vadala, Brett Wilson, Nicole Accuardi, Jessica Tidd, Sam Dinkowitz, and Chris Beatty.
