I'm surprised how much of a non-issue it is that Joyce is an out lesbian. Granted, it's Manhattan and she's among "creatives," but it's still 1964.

I'm surprised that anyone likes -- let alone loves -- anything about Peggy's personality. Or Don's for that matter. They must be two of the most unappealing people in the history of television drama.

I'm beginning to think that Mad Men is working along the same concept as Lost: everyone on the show is really dead and this is their Hell. And like that Night Gallery episode where John Astin played a hippie in Hell, their damnation is boring.
