it makes you MAD (men)??
2
Let me guess, it all took place in some autistic kid's snow globe?

It was just like a lot of other season finales I've seen. It contains cliffhangers. What of it?

No, my problem with that show is that not only does it think that what this world needs is a remake of 'Twin Peaks' (except boring), but as usual it takes place in an American city largely populated by actors from Europe.

Wah, wah, a bunch of critics who got too caught up in what AMC and Veena Sud wanted them to expect from the show didn't like it. Me (and almost everyone I know personally who watches the show), I read nothing from AMC, nothing from Veena Sud, and no reviews or interviews and the season's narrative worked just fine for me. I'll be back for it next season.

Fuck yea, I'll be back. It's an incredible show. Big whoop, so they left us hanging.

The show's been good at unfurling new twists while staying within the realm of the possible. Character development is both concealed and revealed enough so twists don't seem too alarming. BUT, the Holder twist at the end? Hmmm. They got some 'splainin' to do next season.

Now that this pile of poo is over with we can get to Breaking Bad!

A complete trainwreck. Not a cliffhanger. Just plain idiotic. These aren't unlikeable characters. They are unknowable characters. And it isn't because they are impenetrably brilliant literary creations. It's because they have no discernably consistent motivations for any of their behaviors.

Sepinwall said it best.

Reading his interview with Veera Sud comparing her show to "Breaking Bad" and "Mad Men" was the capper. She's not worthy to hold Vince Gilligan's or Matthew Weiner's jocks- let alone act is if she's crafted something on par with "The Suitcase" episode!

What a horrible joke.

Nobody I know who watched the finale plans to watch it again next season. Everyone had the same reaction... "Screw them for wasting my time!" Indeed.

Yea, I agree, I was insulted by the "finale". I watched every episode for that BS?

About 4 weeks ago I figured out it was the sleasebag mayor runnning for re-election that killed Rosie. So far, it looks like I'm on the right track.

You can tell which characters are up to no good by watching how often rack focus is used on them. That's quality tv.

Please wait...
