Belmont Art Walk
The monthly, neighborhood celebration of art, Entertainment for the Peasants, (mostly located between 32nd-34th SE Belmont) presents a spring dose of underground art. The Cricket Cafe displays Pretty is as Pretty Does, mixed media work by Miss Place, and Tim Stollenwerk presents work in the exhibit, Abstract Patterns. Realm 8 unveils Experiments in Fairyland, paintings by Kaya Dzankich. Seaplane showcases Strand-Residue-Accumulation, mixed media projects by Rachael Donaldson. The Aalto Lounge adds the poetry and photography of Sabrina Guitari Dommerge to the mix. Starflower presents Nature Encircles, imagery by Tamara English. Rounding out the SE tour is a group photography show at the Goodfoot. Opens April 12

James B. Thompson presents a series of paintings that highlight "the study of decision-making in both the game of golf and the process of painting." Zach Kircher offers up paintings that marry retro colors and imagery centered around media-friendly renderings of people "happily in their places." Monty Sheldon rounds out the Savage posse with a group of sports memorabilia objects that he adds imagery to, by way of acrylic paint and ink. Opens April 12
