A friend that recently relocated back to New York sent a photo our way of a wonderful, wonderful thing. Maybe I’m behind the times or just don’t get across the country enough, but I’ve never seen this kind of efficiency and convenience around these parts.

Brought to you by Met Foods of New York and New Jersey. Has anyone seen this meat marvel on around town? Is this just a New York phenomenon? Tell me more!

  1. Graham, that’s not meatLOAF mix but meatBALL mix. Anyone who watches cooking programs knows that Pork/Beef/Veal is the holy trinity for a good Italian meatball. So yeah, possibly it’s a NY (/tri-state area) thing.

  2. @BIKEFOR1: THE LABEL ON THE PACKAGE CLEAR SAYS “MEAT LOAF”. PERSONALLY, I LIKE MY MEAT LOAF WITH PORK/BEEF/LAMB; BUT LAMB IS KIND OF EXPENSIVE SO I USUALLY JUST USE BEEF/PORK.

  3. No wonder Rachael Ray mentions this product all the TIME. I had to dig to find veal at Fred Meyer recently – although now I see it all the time, of course.
