A friend that recently relocated back to New York sent a photo our way of a wonderful, wonderful thing. Maybe I’m behind the times or just don’t get across the country enough, but I’ve never seen this kind of efficiency and convenience around these parts.

Brought to you by Met Foods of New York and New Jersey. Has anyone seen this meat marvel on around town? Is this just a New York phenomenon? Tell me more!

HAVE YOU EVER ACTUALLY BEEN GROCERY SHOPPING? MEATLOAF MIX IN THE BUTCHER-CASE IS VERY VERY VERY COMMON.
Not that uncommon although it is a bit different to see veal
Yeah, we’ve got that here. It’s called meat.
Graham, that’s not meatLOAF mix but meatBALL mix. Anyone who watches cooking programs knows that Pork/Beef/Veal is the holy trinity for a good Italian meatball. So yeah, possibly it’s a NY (/tri-state area) thing.
@BIKEFOR1: THE LABEL ON THE PACKAGE CLEAR SAYS “MEAT LOAF”. PERSONALLY, I LIKE MY MEAT LOAF WITH PORK/BEEF/LAMB; BUT LAMB IS KIND OF EXPENSIVE SO I USUALLY JUST USE BEEF/PORK.
I adore a pork/beef/lamb meatloaf. The only thing this package is missing is cocaine.
“…but the mother and child reunion, is only a meatloaf aWAYAY!!!”

No wonder Rachael Ray mentions this product all the TIME. I had to dig to find veal at Fred Meyer recently – although now I see it all the time, of course.
Never ever ever store mixed species this way. You’ll get fucking sicker than shit! Yuck!
