Asked by a friendly news outlet why he didn’t bother praising our troops in his speech, Romney responded: “When you give a speech you don’t go through a laundry list, you talk about the things you think are important.” Wrong answer. You thank the fucking troops. They are not a laundry list. And while Romney might not think they are important, they kind of are.
Let’s play let’s pretend! Let’s pretend that someone the Democrats had nominated for president did and said this—failed to mention the troops in his acceptance speech, then said he doesn’t think the troops are important—and then imagine the 24/7 shit storm on Fox, on Limbaugh, on Breitbart, in Michelle Malkin’s pants, etc.

The military supported Ron Paul by a wide majority, they detest Obama enough that Romney wipe his ass with an American flag and still not lose the military vote. It’s pretty irrational behavior and it defies all logic, but Democrats are the natural enemy of the military.
