- Seattle designer Corianton Hale‘s adorable marriage will finally be legal.
The nail-biter of a race for Washington’s Referendum 74 has been called: It’s a win for equality!
The race came down to 52 percent of Washington voters approving the referendum that upholds the same-sex marriage law passed by Washington’s legislature last year and 48 percent of people voting against. This was an expensive and hard-fought campaign, with big business donors like execs at Microsoft, Nike, Alaska Airlines, Starbucks, and the Gates Foundation kicking in millions for the pro-gay campaign. The marriage equality side wound up with quadruple the number of donations as the anti-gay side.
Now you’re going to have to head up to Washington to smoke pot AND get gay married.

The law was upheld by voters in the November 6, 2012 election, but the result will not be certified until December 5.
This bill allows same-sex couples to marry, applies marriage laws without regard to gender, and specifies that laws using gender-specific terms like husband and wife include same-sex spouses.
That is why it will not be certified.
Since the comments are closed for the Boy Scout article, let me ask you here, Sara, how do you feel about Catholic priests pluking young alter boys?
